Wedding photographer in Ajaccio

An imperial city, a gulf facing the sunset: a setting made for daylight photography.

A wedding in Ajaccio

Ajaccio opens onto a gulf facing due west: the light is long in the late afternoon, and the sunsets over the sea are among the most beautiful on the island. Between the old town, its lanes and squares, and the shores of the gulf, couples can choose a city ceremony or a day with their feet in nature.

Places and light

The Sanguinaires road and the Parata point offer, at the end of the day, a setting facing the Sanguinaires islands. In town, the town hall for the civil ceremony, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption or the Greek Chapel bring stone and the patina of a historic setting. In the nearby hinterland, estates and villas allow more intimate receptions, often facing the sea or the maquis.

How I work in Ajaccio

I scout the venues beforehand when possible, I agree with you a schedule that leaves time for portraits in the right light, and I stay discreet during the day. Summer traffic in Ajaccio and the distances between the town hall, the church and the reception venue need preparation: I help you build a realistic schedule.

In the Photography section you will find reportages that show how I work. I deliver a complete reportage in a private online gallery.

Frequently asked questions

Do you photograph civil weddings at the Ajaccio town hall?

Yes. The civil ceremony is part of the reportage; I find out in advance about the town hall's rules on taking photographs so as to remain discreet and respect protocol.

Where can we have our couple portraits taken in Ajaccio?

It depends on your taste: the Sanguinaires road and the Parata point at sunset, the lanes of the old town, or a more private spot in the gulf. We choose together depending on the time and the weather.

Do you travel beyond Ajaccio?

Yes, throughout Corsica: Propriano, Sartène, Cargèse, Corte, Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, Calvi, Bastia and elsewhere.

How do I get a quote?

Each proposal is built to measure: length of coverage, venue, number of guests, distance, and whether a film is included. Send me the date, the venue and a few words about your day through the contact form: I reply personally within 48 working hours.

When should I book?

As soon as your date and venue are set. The weekends of May, June and September go first, and I limit the number of weddings each year so that each one gets the time it deserves. Write to me even if some details are not yet defined.
